OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami Ice Hockey team will hold its annual end of the year banquet sponsored by the Blue Line Club at the Shiver Center on the Miami University campus this Saturday at 6 p.m.
Miami Hockey Play-by-Play announcer on the Ohio News Network, Dave Allen will serve as the master of Ceremonies. The event will include a dinner, award presentation, silent auction, and senior speeches. The Night of Celebration is open to the public and is the official Ice Hockey celebration to recap the 2008-2009 season. The ceremony will be feature a welcome from Miami Director of Athletics Brad Bates and a proclamation from Oxford mayor, Prue Dana. A limited amount of space is still available for this year's celebration. Ticket prices are $30 for adults and $15 for children (under 12). Tickets can be reserved by calling Ronda Strunk at 513-529-9820 and must be reserved by 12pm on Thursday, April 16th. Tickets are not guaranteed until confirmed with Ronda and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
