OXFORD, Ohio - RedHawk fans will have the opportunity to send off the Miami University ice hockey team to their first-ever Frozen Four appearance in Washington, D.C. Sunday afternoon (April 5) at a 4 o'clock pep rally inside the Goggin Ice Center.
President David Hodge, athletic director Brad Bates and the Miami band will join the fans in saluting coach Enrico Blasi and his West Regional champs at Steve Cady Arena. The program also will include a special hockey highlight video and remarks from Blasi and Jusin Mercier.
Fans are asked to sit in the west stands of The Goggin for Sunday's pep rally.
Miami will face Bemidji State next Thursday (April 9) at 5 p.m. in the semifinal round of the Frozen Four at the Verizon Center. Boston University and Vermont will play each other in the second game.
