OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami and Denver traded national rankings again Monday. Well, sort of.

Following Denver's weekend split with Colorado College, Miami regained the No. 1 ranking in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, but the Pioneers maintained the narrowest of margins in the USCHO.com/CBS College sports poll. After the top two spots, the voters agreed on positions three through 15, led by Wisconsin, Boston College and North Dakota.

In the USA Today/USA Hockey poll, Miami gained 21 of 34 first-place votes for 497 points, placing second on the other 13 ballots. Denver was first on those and second on the rest for 489 points.

In the USCHO.com/CBS College Sports poll, the two teams were separated by just four points, 976 to 972. Denver garnered 26 first-place votes, while Miami had the other 24 top-billings.

Miami also reagined the top spot in the INCH Power Ratings.
