Played in 36 games for the RedHawks... tallied eight points on a goal and seven assists... scored his first career and first game-winning goal on Feb. 13 against Lake Superior State ... had a single assist in seven contests, including one in the West Regional semifinal win against Denver (March 27)... took 20 penalties for 40 minutes... finished the season with a plus-eight rating.

The only freshmen defensemen to play in all 42 games... passed out eight assists to post an eight-point rookie season... received 10 penalties and 20 penalty minutes... posted a +18 mark in his freshman campaign, including +11 during CCHA play... handed out six assists during conference play.
Prior to Miami
Played the 2006-07 season with the Waterloo of the United States Hockey League (USHL)... ranked third on the team in defenseman scoring with four goals, including one game-winner, and tallied 17 assists in 46 regular-season games... helped the Black Hawks to a 39-17-4 record and a USHL East Division title... paced his team with +23 rating... ranked third on the squad with 96 penalty minutes... notched a goal and two assists in nine USHL playoff games... recorded five goals, including one game-winner, and chipped in six helpers in 53 regular-season games during the 2005-06 slate... skated for the Chicago Young American team in the Midwest Elite
