1999-2000 Earned his first letter, playing in 28 games ... made his collegiate debut in Miami’s 5-2 win over Providence College (Oct. 23) ... recorded his first collegiate assist in a 4-4 tie with Ferris State (Jan. 21) ... posted his first collegiate goal in Miami’s 5-4 overtime win over Alaska-Fairbanks (Feb. 5) ... scored the only Miami goal in a 2-1 loss to Ohio State (March 4) ... posted a total of four points on three goals and one assist ... finished the season -1 plus/minus.
Prior to Miami Played for the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) ... finished 13th in the NAHL in scoring with 59 points and was named Chicago’s team MVP... selected to the NAHL All-Star Game ... ranked third in the NAHL in power play goals with 14, and his 34 overall goals were fourth in the league ... his four short-handed goals tied for the league lead ... helped Team Illinois’ Midget “AAA” team to a 1997 national championship ... also lettered two years in golf at Crystal Lake Central.
