Assistant captain...CCHA Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 4-11)...played in 34 games this year...notched 26 points this year on 12 goals and 14 assists... recorded first hat trick of his career against Notre Dame (Dec. 4)...had a career-best six-point weekend against UNH (Oct. 8-9)...scored a career high three points on two goals and one assist against UNH on Oct. 8...scored four power play goals, one short-handed goal, and three game-winning goals...finished with a rating of +15...took 87 shots... penalized eight times for 16 minutes.

2009-10
Suited up for 43 games, missing only the first Nebraska-Omaha game (2/19/10)... tallied 14 points on the year (seven goals and seven assists)... scored the game-winning goal in double overtime against Michigan in the Midwest Regional Final... scored his first goal of the season against UNH (Oct. 16)... netted a career-high two assists against Ohio State (Dec. 12)... also had multi-point games against Lake Superior State (Feb. 6) and Ohio State (Mar. 12)... recorded three points in a weekend series, a career-high, against Ohio State (Dec. 11-12)... scored the first two game-winning goals of his career against Northern Michigan (Oct. 30) and Ohio State (Mar. 14)... finished with a +12 rating in plus/minus.

2008-09
Suited up for 16 games as a freshman... totalled six points on five goals and one assist... recorded the first multi-point game of his career against Ohio State on Feb. 28... tallied two goals that night... two of his goals came during NCAA Tournament play -- vs. Denever (March 27) and vs. Bemidji State (April 9)... picked up his first career assist on the game-tying goal against Northern Michigan on March 14... four of his five scores came during the regular-season finale and postseason... credited with 25 shots and a plus-three rating... took three penalties for six minutes.

Prior to Miami
Played high school hockey for Sylvania Northview from 2003-06, earning three letters... captained the team as a senior... posted 138 goals and 119 assists during his career... tallied 103 points in 2004-05... scored the most goals in a single season in school history by recording 64 goals in 2005-06... guided Northview to the state title game in 2005-06... spent two seasons with the Mahoning Valley Phantoms... racked up 21 goals and 27 assists in 61 games in 2006-07... played in 43 games in 2007-08, notching 14 goals and 24 assists... named Mr. Hockey Ohio (an award given to Ohio's top hockey player)... named to the Northview's honor roll... member of the National Honor Society... was editor of his high school newspaper.
