Miami’s offensive MVP after leading the team in goals (19) and points (39) while tying for the team lead in assists (20) ... tied for the CCHA lead with 19 goals scored in conference play ... tallied all but two of his 39 points in CCHA play ... tallied a career-high four points with a goal and three assists in a Nov. 25 defeat of Lake Superior ... totaled a team-best 12 multiple-point outings on the year ... scored in eight consecutive games from Nov. 17 to Dec. 9, accounting for an impressive eight goals and 10 goals during the stretch ... accounted for four-straight multiple-point games, including three consecutive three-point games, from Jan. 26 to Feb. 3 when Miami collected consecutive sweeps of Bowling Green and Western Michigan ... led team with four game-winning goals. HONORS & AWARDS: Named CCHA Offensive Player of the Week for the weekend of Dec. 8-9 ... named second-team all-CCHA ... named Miami’s Outstanding Offensive Player.
1999-2000
Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a partially torn meniscus in his left knee during the opening weekend at Western Michigan (Oct. 8-9) ... elected to take a medical redshirt for the remainder of the season
1998-99
Team MVP ... played in all 36 games ... led the CCHA in goals with 26, the third-highest total by a Miami sophomore ... led the team and was ninth in the conference in scoring (26-14-40) ... posted his first career hat trick in a 4-3 overtime victory vs. St. Lawrence (Dec. 28). Honors & Awards: Named to the Syracuse Invitational all-tournament team ... four-time CCHA Offensive Player of the Week selection.
1997-98
Was the only freshman to play in all 37 games ... tallied 16 points on eight goals and eight assists ... was the team’s second-highest scoring freshman ... scored five points (1-4-5) in the last eight games of the season .. posted his first multiple-point game (1g, 1a) of his career vs. Denver in the opening round of the Denver Cup (Dec. 27) ... scored his first collegiate goal in the season opener vs. Waterloo (Oct. 11)..
Prior to Miami
Played for the Compuware Ambassadors of the NAHL ... scored 71 points on 37 goals and 34 assists during the 1996-97 season ... was 1997’s Michigan Hockey Magazine’s Junior Player of the Year and NAHL Most Valuable Player ... one of three finalists for the National Junior Player of the Year Award.
