Played in all 41 games for the Red and White... scored 11 goals and had 24 assists (second on the team) for a career-high 35 points... tallied at least one goal on 10 occasions... his best effort was a pair at Nebraska-Omaha on Jan. 24... posted six multi-point games, including a six-point (1-5-6) effort against Ohio State on Oct. 11... finished tied for second in the CCHA in power-play points... has five goals in extra-man situations... was third on the team with 127 shots... registered a plus-five rating... whistled for eight penalties (16 minutes).
2007-08
Played in all 42 games for the Red and White... scored six goals and dished out 24 assists to post a 30-point season... his 24 assists ranked as the sixth-best by a freshman in Miami history... earned 20 penalty minutes on 10 penalties... scored two power-play goals and scored one game-winner (all in CCHA play)... posted a +19 rating... was one of four freshmen to play in all 42 games.
Prior to Miami
Played the 2006-07 season with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the United States Hockey League (USHL)... ranked second on the team's scoring chart with 55 points (18-37), including five powerplay goals and three shorthanded markers... helped Cedar Rapids to 37-18-5 regular-season record and second-place finish in the USHL's East Division... tallied a goal and seven assists in six Clark Cup Playoff games... skated for the East Division team at the 2007 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game... played with the New England Falcons of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) in 2005-06... totalled 53 points on 22 goals and 31 assists in 45 games... suited up for the South Division in the EJHL All-Star Game.
