A first-team All-CCHA selection... was one of three finalists (the only non-goaltender) for CCHA Player of the Year honors... played in 40 games, missing only the second game at Michigan... led the team in points (42), goals (20) and game-winning goals (four)... was tied for third in the nation in power-play goals with 12, while leading the CCHA in conference-only goals with 16... recorded his first career hat-trick and a career-high four points vs. Western Michigan on Dec. 7... also tallied four points a week later vs. RPI (Dec. 14)... had at least one goal on 15 occasions, while tallying at least one point in 23 contests... assisted on the game-winning goal in the NCAA West Regional semifinal against Denver (March 27)...

2007-08
Played in 33 games for the RedHawks... posted 15 goals and handed out 26 assists to total 41 points... earned three CCHA Rookie of the Week awards... was the NCAA's top rookie in points-per-game (sixth in total points)... ranked 10th nationally in points per game... finished fifth in Miami history in assists by a freshman... was tied for 10th for goals by a freshman in Miami history... posted a +19 mark... scored five power-play goals, two shorthanded goals and one game-winning goal... recorded his game-winning goal against then-No. 16 Renssselaer Dec. 15... during that game he scored two goals and two assists, earning CCHA Rookie of the Week honors.
Prior to Miami
Played the 2006-07 season with the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL)... earned second-team All-USHL accolades... ranked second on the team in scoring with 23 goals, including two game-winners, and tallied 48 assists in 56 regular season games... helped Stars to a 37-20-3 record and a third-place showing in the USHL's West Division... tied for second on his team with +24 rating ... notched a goal and an assist in five USHL playoff games... skated for the East Division team at the 2007 USHL Prospects/All-Star Game... suited up with the Cleveland Barons of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the 2005-06 and 2004-05 campaigns ... registered 51 goals, 89 assists in 125 career games... tallied 21 power-play goals and seven game-winning markers in Cleveland ... garnered All-NAHL First Team honors in his final season with the Barons ... joined the U.S. National Under-18 Team to compete in the 2006 Four Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic.
