Miami University head men’s golf coach Casey Lubahn and his wife, Rachel, recently took part in the Golf Channel’s reality series “The Big Break X: Michigan”. The show premiers on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and runs through Tuesday, Dec. 16.

For the first time, the Big Break uses a team format that is said to test each duo’s game as much as their relationship. The Lubahns are the only husband and wife tandem among the eight male-female teams competing in the series. Teams are comprised of individuals boasting amateur and professional tour accolades, and whose connections range from married or dating to friends or ex-significant others.

According to information from the show, "Big Break X: Michigan" features new skills challenges to test every phase of the competitor’s game. The winning pair will earn a PGA TOUR tournament exemption for the male and an LPGA tournament exemption for the female.
