Former Miami University golfer Tee McCabe ('99) finished in a tie for second at the Nationwide Tour's Moonah Classic in Fingal, Victoria, Australia at the Moonah Links. McCabe shot rounds of 70-72-69-71=282 to finish six-under par and earn $68,801.

The finish moved him to sixth on the Nationwide Tour Money List through the first four events of the 2008 season. At the conclusion of 2008, the top-25 money winners on the Nationwide Tour earn their PGA Tour cards for the 2009 season.

Steadily climbing the ladder in the world of professional golf, McCabe finished 57th on the 2007 Nationwide money list with $109,836. He finished ninth on the NGA Hooters Tour money list in both 2005 and 2006 prior to progressing to the Nationwide Tour last season.

McCabe was a two-time All-MAC selection, a three-time Academic All-MAC pick and a 1998 All-American Scholar during his time at Miami. He also was a member of the 1998 team that finished 13th at the NCAA Championships, tying Miami's best national finish.
