HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.--In its final event of the fall season, Miami University's men's golf team finished in eighth place among the 10-team field at the Wolverine at Mission Inn Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Michigan.
As a team, the RedHawks jumped two spots on the final day, surpassing Northern Illinois and Xavier in the team standings.
Freshman Nathan Sutherland and sophomore Craig Voorhees finished in a tie for 24th place at 12-over par 228, while junior Ben Wood finished in a tie for 32nd place at 14-over par 230. Junior Ben Bastel and freshman Michael Drobnick finished in a tie for 52nd place at 21-over par 237.
The RedHawks return to action at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate March 16-18.
