LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--Miami University's golf team finished in a tie for 12th place among the 17-team field at the UALR/First Tee Classic March 26-27. The RedHawks finished in a tie with Western Kentucky University, shooting 295-294-308=897 as a team.
Sophomore Ben Bastel paced the RedHawks with a six-over par 222 finish to tie for 41st place. Sophomore Ben Wood finished one stroke behind Bastel in a tie for 44th place, while freshman Andrew Aseltine tied for 51st place at 11-over par 225. Senior Joshua Dean finished in a tie for 60th place and sophomore Aaron Crist tied for 81st place.
Miami has little time to rest as the RedHawks compete in the EKU Spring Intercollegiate March 30-31.
