OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University's athletic department has announced that a limited number of tickets for the RedHawk football team's September 6 game at Michigan are now available to Miami season ticket holders, active Red and White Club donors and the university's student body.

Single-game tickets for $50, located in Miami's block of seats at Michigan Stadium, will be made available to season ticket holders and donors, with seat assignments based upon Red and White Club membership.

The September 6 contest at Michigan is Miami's first game against a Big Ten opponent since playing Minnesota last season and its first trip to Ann Arbor since 2004. Coach Shane Montgomery's team has been picked by several pre-season magazines to win the Mid-American Conference's East Division.

The non-student eligibility guidelines for the Miami-Michigan football tickets are as follows:

Season Ticket Holders -Eligible for the same number of Michigan tickets as they have paid season tickets. (If ticket holder has purchased three season tickets for the 2008 season, they are eligible for three Michigan tickets.)

Red and White Club (annual gift to the Red and White Club Scholarship Fund) - $250 - $999 - Eligible for up to two tickets to the Michigan game - $1,000 - $2,499 - Eligible for up to four tickets to the Michigan game - $2,500 & above - Eligible for up to six tickets to the Michigan game

Season Ticket Holders who also are Red and White Club members -Eligible for the higher classification of the two, but not a combination of both (A season ticket holder who has four season tickets and gives $300 to the Red and White Club is eligible for four Michigan tickets, not six).

Miami University students also can attend the "Battle at the Big House" on September 6. One very affordable option includes a game ticket, round-trip bus transportation, breakfast, a post-game snack, and a game-day T-shirt. Total cost of the travel package is just $75.

Miami students may also choose a ticket-only option, priced at $50.

"The Athletic Department and the University felt it was important to provide an affordable travel package because we believe engaging the student body for memorable events helps build a sense of community spirit on campus," said Anthony Azama, marketing director. "Due to the limited number of tickets made available by the University of Michigan, the tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis".

Miami's Alumni Association will host a pep rally for RedHawk fans in a tailgate area adjacent to Michigan Stadium prior to the game.

Ticket orders will begin being taken at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 21, at either 513-529-HAWK or 1-866-MUHAWKS.
