OXFORD, Ohio -- There were smiles all around Wednesday as kids from age five to 12 got to pass, catch, run, and punt on the turf of Miami's Yager Stadium.

Head Coach Michael Haywood's RedHawk coaching staff taught the eager youngsters the fundamentals of football.

The football camps are just one of the 13 different sports activities offered at the Oxford, Ohio campus from June to August. The goals of the Miami University Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Camps are to provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to enjoy a fun-filled experience in a unique learning environment. Sports camps at Miami University are not just focused on skill development, but learning about sportsmanship, gaining confidence in your special sport, and strategies important to success.

All sports camps are hosted on Miami's beautiful campus which is a safe, family-oriented community.
