OXFORD, Ohio - Two Miami University senior football players, linebacker Clayton Mullins (Fairborn, OH) and offensive guard Dave DiFranco (LaGrange, OH), have earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference mention by Phil Steele's 2008 College Football Preview Magazine.

Mullins, the league's 2007 Defensive Player of the Year, paced the MAC in tackles a year ago. At 6-4 and 305 pounds, DiFranco is expected to be one of the conference's premier offensive linemen this coming season.

Other RedHawks mentioned in the pre-season publication include second-team All-MAC linebackers Joey Hudson (Sr., Piqua, OH) and Caleb Bostic (Jr., Galloway, OH), third-team punter JAKE RICHARDSON (Sr., Oxford, OH), and fourth-team choices receiver Dustin Woods (Jr., Cincinnati, OH), defensive lineman Joe Coniglio (Sr., Rockford, IL), receiver/punt receiver Eugene Harris (So., Atlanta, GA) and safety Jordan Gafford (Jr., Columbus, OH). Senior placekicker Nathan Parseghian (Sylvania, OH) earned honorable mention.

Miami football season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-866-MU-HAWKS (684-2957) or 529-HAWK for renewal assistance. Season tickets for chairback seats are $115, while general seating is $99.
