Below is a transcript of Wednesday's blog that coincided with the RedHawk Recruiting Live Webcast about Miami's 2010 football recruiting class. If you missed the Webcast, it will be available on MURedHawks.com early next week.

7:00 a.m. - Welcome to RedHawk Recruiting Live! We'll be with you today from now until 1 p.m., giving you, the fan, a behind-the-scenes look at National Signing Day. To access the Webcast, click the link at the top of the page. The Webcast is going to get underway any second now and we'll hear from Head Coach Mike Haywood and recruiting coordinator Bill Elias in the opening 30 minutes, as the "Voice of the RedHawks" Steve Baker, Tim Bray and Terry Bridges will guide you through the day on the Webcast.

7:12 a.m. - Miami Athletic Director Brad Bates and Deputy Athletic Director Jason Lener have just arrived at the football office complex, while Coach Haywood is currently speaking on the Webcast. Word has just arrived that Miami has received its first National Letter of Intent of the day and Coach Haywood will speak to the newest RedHawk via phone coming up in the next 20 minutes!

7:19 a.m. - Coach Haywood just spoke to offensive lineman Jeff Tanner out of Cincinnati Moeller High School. The 6-3, 265-pounder is the first RedHawk of the day to send in his NLI. Tanner chose the RedHawks over Wake Forest. Now with Tim Bray is UConn transfer C.J. Marck (a linebacker), who sat out last year after transferring. C.J.'s brother Steve is a tight end on the Miami team currently. C.J. will begin playing for the 'Hawks in 2010.

7:30 a.m. - Travis Williams, a cornerback from Cooper City, Fla. has just sent in his NLI, as he becomes the second prep student-athlete to send in his NLI, joining OL Jeff Tanner. Williams also had offers from Clemson, Michigan, Syracuse and Wake Forest. Keep checking back on the blog (you may have to refresh the page) and the Webcast as we'll hear from all the assistant coaches throughout the morning. 7:41 a.m. - The phones are starting to ring regularly and the fax machine is starting to heat up. Coming up in the next half hour we'll hear from Iowa transfer Jason Semmes, who sat out 2009 due to NCAA transfer rules, and will suit up in red and white starting in 2010. We'll also see the redshirt sophomore defensive lineman's highlight video. His brother, Justin, was a freshman fullback for Miami in 2009.

8:01 a.m. - Miami has just announced its new wide receivers coach, Alex Wood, who was the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals in 2004 and has coached in college for many years. Coming up in the next hour we'll hear from strength coach James Carsey, quarterback Zac Dysert and see highlights of Jeff Tanner, who sent in his NLI earlier today. 8:13 a.m. - Click here to see video highlights of Jeff Tanner, who was the first to send in his NLI this morning. Tanner is an offensive lineman out of Moeller High School in Cincinnati. We also saw video of and talked to fullback Vince Helmuth, a transfer from Michigan who sat out the 2009 season and will play for Miami in 2010. Click here to see video highlights of Helmuth.

8:17 a.m. - Athletic Director Brad Bates has just brought doughnuts for the coaches and hard-working staff putting on the Webcast. Steve Baker will talk to Bates later on this hour. Just now, Orne Bey out of Gateway HS in Monroeville, Pa. has sent in his NLI. He's a wide reciever/running back utility man who averaged 8.6 yards per carry as a senior. Click here to see video highlights of Bey. With it past the 8 o'clock hour, those in the central time zone can now fax in their NLIs.

8:34 a.m. - Earlier we heard Coach Haywood talk to defensive back Travis Williams and congratulate him on sending in his NLI. Williams is out of Cooper City, Fla. as Haywood first saw him at a camp while he was at Notre Dame. He chose Miami over Clemson, Syracuse, Michigan and Wake Forest. 8:42 a.m. - Trey Payne, a 5-8, 153-pound DB from Spring, Texas (Klein Oak HS) has just faxed in his NLI, becoming the second defensive back to commit to Miami today (Travis Williams being the other). Payne competed on the national 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams. Kicker Mason Krysinski (Shelby Twp., Mich.) also sent in his NLI and we'll hear about him shortly. We're also hearing from this past year's co-captain Jordan Gafford right now. Be sure to refresh the page regularly to get the latest blog updates.

9:17 a.m. - Miami has two OL with NLIs in, as Jeff Tanner we talked about earlier and now Tyler Grubbs. Other signees who have faxed in NLIs today include RB/WR Orne Bey (Monroeville, Pa.), DB Travis Williams (Cooper City, Fla.) and PK Mason Krysinski (Shelby Twp., Mich.). 9:22 a.m. - Tim Bray just spoke with Anthony Kokal, who was an All-MAC selection in 2009 and helped secure Miami's lone win in 2009 by forcing a fumble late in the game against Toledo that saved the victory. Robert Partridge, a 6-1, 192-pound QB from Massillon, Ohio is now the newest RedHawk. New Miami wide receivers coach Alex Wood was Partridge's offensive coordinator at Massillon last year. 9:35 a.m. - Men's basketball head coach Charlie Coles and women's basketball head coach Maria Fantanarosa will be on the Webcast in the next 20 minutes. We'll also hear about defensive back Dante Taylor out of Springfield, Va. shortly, as he just faxed in his NLI. Taylor's high school coach Rob Everett said Taylor's work ethic is "unrivaled."

9:53 a.m. - Nick Harwell, who's been attending classes at Miami this semester, was just on air with Tim Bray. He's a wideout from Missouri City, Texas (Elkins HS). He attended Air Force Prep. Academy during the fall semester. Click here to see video highlights of Harwell.

10:00 a.m. - As we reach the halfway point in the Webcast, Tim Bray just spoke with another new RedHawk who's been attending classes at Miami the past year in John Steele. Steele is a defensive tackle from Cleveland South HS, who comes in at 6-3, 280 pounds. Coach Haywood says Steele "will be a success story at Miami." Click here to see highlights of Steele. Hockey head coach Rico Blasi is on the Webcast currently and we'll hear about a few more signees from their position coach in the upcoming hour.

10:17 a.m. - Dante Taylor, another defensive back, is being talked about by defensive coordinator Carl Reese, as he sent in his NLI earlier this morning. Click here to see his highlight video. Taylor attended Lee HS and is from Springfield, Va. We've also just received an NLI from OL Justin Stumph, who hails from St. Charles Prep in Columbus. Stumph is 6-3, 275 and is the 70th-best guard nationally according to Scout.com. Click here to see highlights of Stumph. Newcomer Kelvin Jackson will be on the Webcast next, as Jackson has been attending classes at Miami this semester. He is a defensive end/linebacker from Missouri City, Texas.

10:39 a.m. - Coach Haywood will be back on Webcast shortly, as will head women's track and field/cross country coach Kelly Phillips, who will talk about her signees today. We just saw highlights of Miami newcomer DB Demetrius Quarles out of Woodbridge, Va. To see his highlight video, click here. Quarles also considered Virginia Tech, UNC and Uconn. We also so highlights a bit ago of DE/LB Kelvin Jackson, who's been at Miami this semester taking classes and is cousins with head coach Mike Haywood. To see highlights of Jackson, click here.

10:56 a.m. - Center Adam Fletcher from the men's basketball team just dropped in and was interviewed by Steve Baker. Coach Haywood came in wearing Fletcher's headband with a basketball in hand and boy was it a sight to see! Now we'll hear about OL Julian Green from North Bethesda, Md. (Georgetown Prep HS). To see highlights of Green, click here. Green weighs in at 305 and is 6-4 and his uncle is former Cowboys RB Doug Dennison. He is the fourth OL Miami has signed today, joining Jeff Tanner, Justin Stumph and Tyler Grubbs.

11:07 a.m. - Head women's cross country/track & field coach Kelly Phillips just spoke about her two recruits, sprinter Kelsey Barnes and thrower Tori Paterra. DL Coach Antoine Smith is now talking about DE Mwanza Wamulumba out of Fort Meade, Md. (Meade HS). He is also a state champion in wrestling. Click here to see highlights of Wamulumba.

11:34 a.m. - Members of the Miami marching band just marched through the football offices, blaring "Love and Honor" with coach Bill Elias marching behind in step. We're about to hear about Milton Greer, a running back from Mount Carmel HS in Chicago. He ran for 2,215 yards and 34 touchdowns in his last two years. To see his highlight video, click here. We'll also talk to new tight ends coach J.D. Vonderheide about new recruit Dustin White from Lake Charles, La.

11:47 a.m. - We just heard from new tight ends coach J.D. Vonderheide, who was a player at Miami and also served as Miami's director of operations. He talked about Miami's only tight end and only recruit from Louisiana of the 2010 class, Dustin White. Click here to see highlights of White. Head soccer coach Bobby Kramig and assistant field hockey coach Lindsay Markwart are also in the building and will be talking about their signing classes coming up in the next half hour.

11:59 a.m. - We just heard from assistant Lindsay Markwart about this year's field hockey recruits. Lunch is still being served in the hallway. Terry Bridge just interviewed DB coach Lance Guidry about defensive back Allen Veazie (pronounced VEE-zay) from Houston, Texas (Eisenhower HS), who is ranked the 61-st best cornerback in the 2010 class by ESPN. Veazie, who had an offer from Minnesota, went to high school with fellow Miami recruit Delvin Becks, a DT who will hear about in the final hour of our Webcast. 12:08 p.m. - We're in the final hour of RedHawk Recruiting Live and we just heard from head women's soccer coach Bobby Kramig, who announced an enormous class of 10 women who will become RedHawks in the fall. Half of the class hails from Ohio while the others are from around the country and even Canada. Back to football, we now have all 23 NLIs in hand to complete Miami's 2010 class. We've heard about most of them but we still have six left in this last hour to talk about, starting with DT Delvin Becks from Houston, who played with DB Allen Veazie at Eisenhower High. 12:23 p.m. - Another Texas recruit, Willie Culpepper, was just talked about by RB coach KiJuan Ware. Culpepper will probably be Miami's fastest player in the fall, as he averaged 9.74 yards per carry and scored 21 TDs as a senior at Brackenridge HS. For his highlight video, click here. We also took time to recognize Pam and Dawn, whose offices we have invaded to at the football office complex. With about 40 minutes left, we still have four recruits left to discus and we'll hear from regional recruiting experts about Miami's class. 12:33 p.m. - One of the six defensive backs in Miami's 2010 class that we hadn't heard about yet was Trey Payne out of Spring, Texas (Klein Oak HS). As I mentioned earlier, Payne ran on the national 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams. To see his highlights, click here. We're also about to hear about RB Tracy Woods out of Galena Park, Texas (North Shore HS), who comes in at 5-10, 208. Woods' highlight video can be seen here. As we near the finish, Coach Haywood will be on again to talk about the class as a whole. We also just had a guest from Miami's student group, Red Alert, which is a strong supporter of Miami Athletics.

12:40 p.m. - Things are starting to slow down here in the football offices, as we introduced Miami's final two recruits of the 2010 class to complete all 23 signees (all the highlight videos can be found throughout the blog and were also shown on the Webcast). Wide receiver DeMarco Paine will come to Miami in the fall after transferring in from Iowa Central CC. He's originally from St. Louis, Mo. and signed with Iowa before leaving for community college. To see Paine's highlight video, click here. The final recruit of the day we've talked about is Dayonne Nunley from Monroeville, Pa. (Gateway HS), one of six DBs in Miami's class. His highlight video can be viewed here. We're hearing from Texas recruiting guru Randy Rodgers now, as he talks about Miami's seven recruits from the Lone Star State.
