OXFORD, Ohio--Reality shows are the staple of network television nowadays. CBS has "Survivors", NBC gets high ratings from "The Biggest Loser", and ABC touts "Extreme Makeover" and "Dancing with the Stars" on its network line-up.

Hosted by Steve Baker, Tim Bray and Terry Bridge of the Miami ISP Sports Network, Miami University athletics debuts its new reality show--Miami Savings Bank RedHawk Recruiting Live--this Wednesday (Feb. 3) at 7 a.m. (EST). Baker, Bray, Bridge and a RedHawk camera crew inside Miami's football office complex will give Miami fans a never-before-seen inside look at the excitement of collegiate NLI Day.

Believed to be the first-ever worldwide webcast of its kind, Miami's website--www.MURedHawks.com--tells an international audience about its 2010 football recruiting class. As commitments to Miami's 2010 football recruiting class are received, fans who tune in will be the first to know which high school stars will be playing college football for the Red and White.

Streamed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., RedHawk Recruiting Live will feature six full hours of free, live recruiting announcements and appearances by nearly 50 current student-athletes and other special guests on MURedHawks.com's all-access channel.

Fans also will personally meet an impressive group of current student-athletes who have transferred to Miami University and who will be eligible for the upcoming 2010 season.

Miami's 2010 signees for soccer, field hockey, and women's track and field also will be unveiled during the webcast.

Fans also will be able to use Twitter to "tweet" their recruiting questions to Head Football Coach Michael Haywood and his staff. Haywood will answer fans' queries for a segment at least once every hour. Fans who participate will be eligible to win sideline passes at Miami's spring football game on April 10.

Miami fans can reserve their season tickets for 2010 by depositing just $50. Those who order season tickets on Wednesday will be rewarded with other special gifts, including RedHawk gear from adidas and the opportunity to participate in the pre-game fan tunnel.

Access to Miami Savings Bank RedHawk Recruiting Live is easy. Just go to www.MURedHawks.com anytime on Wednesday, Feb. 3, between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST.
