Miami Head Coach Shane Montgomery
On the game
"It's easy to second guess yourself when you don't come out victorious but I thought our kids played well."
On the loss
"It's frustrating. I think we went toe-to-toe with them. They just made more plays than we did. It's frustrating because it's been happening all year. When it comes down to pressure situations, we aren't making plays. We have to give them credit... they made the plays."
On our offense and defense
"We didn't run the ball effectively, but I thought we threw well. We needed to keep our defense fresh."
Daniel Raudabaugh, junior quarterback
On Ball State
"The number in front of a team is just the opinion of some people but I think this team can play with anyone whether it is the No. 14 team in the country or the No. 1 team in the country."
Robbie Wilson, senior strong safety
On having a career day
"Win or lose, if it's a (loss) it's a (loss) regardless of how well I played. I have a job to do every time I go out there. That's really my main focus as opposed to a "career day."
Ball State Coach Brady Hoke
On the win
"Obviously it's great to win, its great coming here. Winning on the road and in the conference isn't easy to do."
On being 10-0
"It's an accomplishment but we've got to win the conference. We've weathered ten storms but now we have two more important ones."
Bryant Haines, senior weak outside linebacker
On the MAC
"Every team has the ability to beat any other MAC team. I think it's a very competitive conference."
Nate Davis, junior quarterback
On playing Miami
"The biggest thing is we couldn't get ahead of ourselves. They're a great team and we fought through it."
MiQuale Lewis, junior halfback
On what 10-0 means to the team
"We always talk about being MAC Champions, we knew we had an opportunity to be great this year. We need to follow our leaders and stay focused."
