KENT, Ohio (AP) - Ben Roethlisberger threw for 409 yards and three touchdowns, all of them to Martin Nance, as Miami University rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit to beat Kent State 38-30 Saturday.

The game was an air show, by two of the most productive passers in the Mid-American Conference. Roethlisberger went 28-of-44 for Miami (7-1, 4-0 MAC).

Joshua Cribbs provided nearly all the offense for the Golden Flashes (3-6, 2-3), who have lost four straight. He was 19-of-38 passing for 349 yards and two touchdowns - and also was Kent State's best rushing weapon, running for 42 yards and two scores on 10 carries.

Nance made 10 catches for 181 yards. Mike Smith rushed for 105 yards on 20 carries.

Miami led 24-14 at halftime and 24-20 after three quarters. But Kent State went up 27-24 on Cribbs' 21-yard scoring pass to Najah Pruden with 10:14 left in the game.

Roethlisberger then led 80- and 52-yard drives, capping each with a scoring pass to Nance, to put the RedHawks up 38-27.

Travis Mayle closed the scoring for the Flashes with a 38-yard field goal.

A lightning storm midway through the first quarter delayed the game more than an hour.

The RedHawks, with seven consecutive wins, remain alone atop the MAC East.
