SCOUTING REPORT: Part of Miami's important one-two punch at tight end with Kendrick Bruton ... not overly fast, but he has great athletic ability ... his outstanding hands will help the RedHawks' passing attack.

2011: Appeared in every game for Miami, starting against Minnesota (Sept. 17).

2010: Three of his four catches came at Missouri ... played on Miami's special teams, recording four tackles ... earned a varsity letter in his first collegiate season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state and all-district honors at Barbe High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana ... averaged 17 yards per catch and accounted for 12 touchdowns ... team was two-time regional champs ... also was a power forward for the Bucs' basketball team and a sprinter and long jumper with the track and field squad ... prep football coach was Jimmy Shaver.
