SCOUTING REPORT: Earned his second varsity letter in 2009 as the kickoff specialist ... he's also the back-up placekicker to Trevor Cook ... initially joined the RedHawk football team in the spring of `08 ... a member of Miami's "Straight A Team" for four consecutive semesters, he compiled a nearly perfect 3.98 grade point average as an undergraduate.
2009: Appearing in all 12 games, his 37 kickoffs averaged nearly 60 yards per boot ... five were touchbacks ... he also recorded three solo tackles in games against Kent State, Cincinnati and Northern Illinois.
