Started all 13 games and has made 32 straight starts overall ... started the first five games at center ... was moved to right tackle over the last eight games to help shore up the line... finished the Western Michgan game (Nov. 13), the MAC Championship game (Nov. 2) and the Independence Bowl (Dec. 28) at center after starter Dave Rehker was unable to finish ... one of the veteran leaders of an offensive line that allowed only nine quarterback sacks during a key six-game winning streak, after giving up 11 sacks over the first five games ... helped pave the way for 133.0 yards rushing per game over the last eight contests after the ground game struggled to 99.4 yards over the first five games.
2003 Season
Second-team all-MAC selection ... started every game at center ... despite the fact that roughly 70 percent of Miami's snaps came out of the shotgun, had only one bad exchange with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ... helped pave the way for the most potent offense in Miami history and the highest-scoring offense nationally ... offensive line allowed only 8.5 quarterback sacks over the final nine games of the season, despite averaging 40.0 pass attempts per game over that stretch.
2002 Season
Started seven games at center for the RedHawks ... helped pave the way for an aerial attack that ranked third in the conference and set a Miami single-season record for passing yardage.
