Former RedHawk player Jared Elliott returned to his alma mater in the spring of 2010 and begins his second season as a graduate assistant at Miami.

He will be an assistant offensive coach for Head Coach Don Treadwell.

Elliott has been an assistant coach with Missouri Southern State for the past two seasons (2008-09) where he worked with the wide receivers.

A 2008 graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Elliott was a letter winner in 2007. He played both quarterback and wide receiver for the RedHawks.

Originally from Franklin, Tennessee, Elliott was an all-state quarterback for Page High School where he broke every school passing record and was also a three-time all-region, and three-time all-county selection.

Jared and his wife, Jamie, reside in Oxford.
