2000 Season
Playing at less than 100 percent, Edwards was able to make appearances in three games ... rang up three tackles each at Eastern Michigan (Sept. 9) and Ohio State (Sept. 16) before suffering another physical setback ... came back to play one more game vs. Ohio (Nov. 4) and notched one assisted hit.

Played in five games before fracturing his tibia and fibula in his right leg versus Bowling Green (Oct. 10) ... the injury occurred with 11 seconds to go in the first half when the Miami defense forced a Falcon fumble ... was contending for Miamis Freshman of the Year honors prior to the injury ... totaled one tackle vs. North Carolina (Sept. 5) ... had a season-high five tackles (three solos, one for a loss) and one pass deflection vs. Toledo (Sept. 26) ... totaled two tackles (one solo) at Marshall (Oct. 3) ... notched one assisted tackle against Bowling Green (Oct. 10).
