2004 Season
Picked off first career pass in Aug. 28 defeat of Indiana State ... totaled a season-high and matched a career-best with eight solo tackles at Michigan (Sept. 4) ... followed with six tackles at Cincinnati (Sept. 11) ... suffered hand injury in Sept. 18 defeat of Ohio, after starting Miami's first four games ... missed four games before returning to limited action on Nov. 2 versus Toledo ... totaled five tackles in MAC Championship loss to Toledo (Dec. 2)
2003 Season
Emerged as Miami's starting free safety, starting all 14 games ... ranked fifth on the team with 100 tackles, including 51 solo stops ... ranked second on the team with 10 pass break-ups ... totaled 12 tackles, including eight solo stops, in first collegiate start at Iowa (Aug. 30) ... broke up three passes each in back-to-back contests versus Cincinnati (Sept. 27) and Akron (Oct. 4) ... also totaled 10 tackles versus the Zips ... made a career-best 14 tackles and forced a fumble in Nov. 4 defeat of Bowling Green ... totaled nine tackles and recorded his first quarterback sack versus Marshall (Nov. 12) ... ranked among the MAC's top 50 in tackles per game and was one of 28 MAC defenders to notch at least 100 tackles.
