SCOUTING REPORT: An all-league candidate ... sat out spring drills due to a foot injury, but should be ready to go come fall practice ... has earned two varsity letters at Miami ... explosive linebacker with unlimited potential who makes plays all over the field ... will be a lot more consistent in 2008 both against the run and the pass ... opponent offenses will have to be aware he is on the field.
2007: Had a break-out season, notching 103 tackles, second best among all RedHawk defenders ... also ranked second in tackles for loss (11 for 34 yards) and one QB sack ... intercepted one pass (vs. CMU) and recovered one fumble (vs. Minnesota) ... in his first collegiate start (vs. Ball State), he registered a Miami season-high 17 tackles .... sat out the Vanderbilt game due to an injury, but started 11 of the team's other 12 games ... chosen by Phil Steele's Magazine as a Third-Team All-MAC performer.
2006: Earned his first varsity letter as a true freshman, seeing action in 11 of 12 games, totaling 11 tackles ... primarily used as a special teams player, but did see spot duty at linebacker.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three seasons as a tailback and safety at Westland High School, serving as team captain his senior season ... also a standout basketball player ... prep coach was Jeff Jones.
PERSONAL: Son of Jerome and Linda Bostic ... his older brother, Josh, stars for the University of Findlay's basketball team ... majoring in family studies.
