OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University Athletics is unveiling an exciting Weekend Package for men's and women's basketball, announced today by Director of Marketing Anthony J. Azama.
For a price of only $66, RedHawk hoops fans can be part of the action for six men's basketball games and a bonus of four women's games at Millett Hall. The general admission Weekend Package includes these exciting match-ups:
Saturday, December 6: Men vs. Northwestern State (3 p.m.)
Saturday, December 13: Women vs. Butler (2 p.m.) and Men vs. Valparaiso (4 p.m.)
Saturday, January 10: Women vs. Kent State (2 p.m.) and Men vs. Akron (4 p.m.)
Saturday, January 24: Women vs. Toledo (2 p.m.) and Men vs. Buffalo (4 p.m.)
Saturday, February 14: Women vs. Eastern Michigan (5 p.m.) and Men vs. Western Michigan (7 p.m.)
Sunday, March 1: Men vs. Kent State (2 p.m.)
On the doubleheader dates--December 13, January 10 and 24, and February 14--Millett Hall will feature a unique Carnival on the Concourse concept. Activities will include a visit from Santa Claus, autograph sessions with the RedHawk players, magicians, stilt walkers, an exhibit about Miami history, face painting and balloons. There will also be a "Measure Up to Miami" exhibit where youth can measure their arm, hand and shoe sizes to photo images of RedHawk basketball players.
"We believe this is a great opportunity to provide the families in the tri-state with an entertainment option which is extremely cost efficient," said Azama. "We feel good about the new amenities we have at Millett Hall and think that it will greatly improve the overall experience of coming to our home basketball games. Our goal is to be the best sports entertainment option in Butler County through a great game-day experience and through exceptional customer service."
Season tickets for Miami men's basketball games are still available. The 11-game season ticket for men is $165 for the general public, $135 for Miami University faculty and staff, and $150 for youth under 18 years old and for senior citizens 65 and older. Season tickets guarantee reserved seats.

Single-game tickets for each of the women's team's 10 remaining home games are available to adults at $7 and for youth at $5.
