OXFORD, Ohio -- Steve Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills), a 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard, signed a National Letter of Intent with the Miami University men's basketball program during the November signing period. Pogue joins Alex Moosmann (Washington, Mo./St. Francis Borgia Regional) as Miami's two signees during the early signing period.

"Steve has a lot of potential," said Miami head coach Charlie Coles. "His best basketball is ahead of him. I think he will be a solid contributor to our program.

Pogue is a three-year letterwinner at Oak Hills and serves as team captain for a second season. Last year, he earned honorable mention all-city honors, while averaging 9.0 ppg and 4.0 rpg. During his sophomore season, he helped the Highlanders to a 15-7 record en route to a district runner-up finish.
