Sean Mock--July 2, 2009

So far my summer has been going really well. I just finished a history class for summer session number one and am now just working camps and working out. Kenny Hayes and I have an apartment together, so we've been really pushing each other to get in the gym and workout together as much as possible. Rodney Haddix, Nick Winbush and Antonio Ballard have also been going through these workouts with us and I can really see our team coming along and I am getting more and more excited about next year's team each day.

When I'm not playing basketball or going to school I spend a lot of time on the golf course. This is a good time for me to get away but still do something competitive. Normally I golf with my dad, but there have been some times I've gone out with a couple guys from our team. I am also planning on going to a small lake house up north with my family where we go every year to boat, golf and just have a good time together. This is always a good time, but with the week off it always leaves me excited to get back to campus and start working out again.

With our incoming freshman just arriving and hearing about other teammates' goals and dreams, I cannot wait for the season to start. I think everyone is on the same page, and that page is a MAC title and getting back to the "big dance".

This is a continuation of a series of updates from the Miami University men's basketball players throughout the summer.
