OXFORD, Ohio (AP) -- Al Fisher scored 21 points to lead Kent State to a 74-62 win over Miami on Thursday night.

The Golden Flashes (14-3, 3-0 Mid-American) shot 70 percent in the first half to build a 39-23 halftime lead and didn't look back. Haminn Quaintance and Mike Scott each scored 14 and Chris Singletary added 12 for Kent State, which has won four straight and 11 of 12.

Michael Bramos scored 23 points to lead Miami (6-9, 0-3). Tim Pollitz scored 18 and Kenny Hayes had 16 for the RedHawks, who have lost five straight.

Kent State shot 62.9 percent for the game (22 of 35) and Miami hit 40.4 percent (23 of 57).
