OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami baseball team ended its annual alumni weekend with with its alumni game Saturday, Sept. 27. The weekend featured more than 90 former RedHawks and included a golf outing on Sept. 26. The Miami baseball team will be action Oct. 3-4 and Oct. 10-11 with its Red and White series at McKie Field at Hayden Park.

OXFORD, Ohio - For the second consecutive season the alumni baseball game ended in a tie. The RedHawks and the Redskins came away locked up 3-3.
Sam Shorts, class of 2006, started the game for the RedHawks going 3.0 shutout innings giving up one hit and striking out three. Brandon Hillier, class of 2007, went 2 for 2 with a triple and Steve Antoniotti had a double and two runs batted in to lead the RedHawks.
The Redskins countered with Zach Schmidt, class of 2003, going 2 for 2 and Bobby Barnes, class of 2000, connecting for a 2-3 day with a double. Mike Ferris, class of 2004, had one of three RBIs for the Redskins.
