OXFORD, Ohio - Due to inclement weather in the Oxford area, Miami's series opening game against Akron has been postponed.

The RedHawks and Zips will play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 2 p.m. The second game is scheduled to begin at its originally scheduled 6 p.m. slot. Prior to the 6 p.m. game, Miami will honor its 1983 team that will celebrate its 25th anniversary of its MAC Championship and its run to the NCAA Tournament.
