THE SERIES WITH CENTRAL MICHIGAN: Central Michigan leads the all-time series 53-32, including a 30-9 advantage in Mt. Pleasant. However, Miami won last year's lone meeting as the RedHawks defeated the Chippewas, 8-4, on a neutral field in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
CIRCLING THE BASES: Before Sunday, April 6, junior Chris Nadeau was known as one of Miami's top hitters, but the Saline, Mich. native had not hit a home run in his Miami career. Against Western Michigan on April, 6, Nadeau blasted his first home run of his Miami career and he has been swinging a hot bat ever since. Over the past three games, Nadeau is hitting .538, with two doubles, six RBIs and he boasts a slugging percentage of 1.154. As he hit his first home run in his third season at Miami, it only took him only three days to hit the second home run of his career as he hit a towering home run down the right field line in Miami's 11-4 win over Indiana on Wednesday.
HEART OF THE ORDER: Over Miami's last three games, the RedHawk bats have come alive, especially in the heart of the order. For the season, Miami's team batting average is .265, but since April 6, the RedHawks are batting .306. During that stretch, five Miami batters are batting over .300, led by junior catcher Eric Darlage's .571 batting average.

Antoniotti leads Miami with 14 appearances this season and he owns a team-best 2.83 ERA in 28.2 innings. Dawes pitched in two of Miami's Mid-American Conference games this past weekend without giving up a run. On Saturday, Dawes pitched 1 2/3 innings en route to his first career win. Dawes leads the conference in MAC-only games with a 0.00 ERA in nine innings pitched, while also ranking fourth in opponent batting average in MAC-only contests. Antoniotti ranks 11th in the conference in conference-only games with a 1.86 ERA.
