OXFORD, OHIO (March 22) -- Miami University's baseball team (12-6) notched its third win in a row as it defeated Xavier 4-1 Wednesday at Stanley G. McKie Field. The win gave the RedHawks' their ninth win in the last 10 outings and their fourth consecutive win over the Musketeers (5-15).

After Xavier knotted the score at 1-1 in the second inning, Miami took the lead for good in the third on Lackaff's RBI-double, which scored junior Brady Nori (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown). Nori finished the day 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Junior Clark Mace (London, Ohio/Madison Plains) got back on track going 2-for-3 with one run scored.
