Earned a spot on the GTE Academic All-America University Division Baseball team ... also named to all-MAC second team and Academic all-MAC first team ... started 35 of final 42 games as the designated hitter hitting 48-for-109 (.440) ... registered a 21-game hitting streak snapped versus Ohio on May 5, but responded by hitting 5-of-12 with two home runs over the weekend ... led RedHawks in hitting (.406), becoming one of only seven Miami players with more than 125 at-bats to hit over .400 ... finished tied for second in MAC in batting.

1998
Took the field in 16 games ... totaled five hits in 17 at bats for a .294 batting average ... first collegiate hit was a two-RBI single versus Wilmington College on March 19 ... hit RBI doubles versus Xavier on March 31 and Indiana on April 1.
