2005 Made 10 appearances and started two games ... pitched a scoreless inning of relief versus Illinois State (March 16) in his first outing back from Tommy John surgery ... did not allow an earned run in his first three outings of the year ... fanned a season-high four batters in 5.0 innings of relief versus Central Michigan in the MAC Tournament (May 27) ... went 5.0 innings versus Xavier in his second start of the season and allowed jus tone earned run ... earned the victory in Miami's record-setting 35-8 win over Quinnipiac in the NCAA Tournament (June 4) ... drafted in the 35th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the San Francisco Giants.

2004 Pitched in 13 games as the Red and White closer before undergoing Tommy John surgery to officially end his season ... second on Miami with three saves ... recorded his first save of the season by holding the lead against Iowa (March 18) ... notched his second save with 1.2 innings of scoreless work against Massachusetts (March 20) ... earned his third save against Ohio (March 27) ... won his second game by working 2.2 innings in an extra-inning game at Marshall (April 4), which also would be his final outing of the season.

2003 Named to the All-MAC Tournament Team after shutting out Ohio (May 24) in the semifinal of the MAC Tournament ... it was his first career shutout and complete game ... led the Miami pitching staff with 12 starts ... waited nine starts before finally recording his first career victory with a 5.0 inning outing at Buffalo (April 19) ... three times this season he has struck out five batters ... recorded his first career save the old-fashioned way by throwing 4.0 innings of relief in a 8-5 win against Marshall (May 4) ... notched his second win of the season by working 6.0 innings of six-hit, two-run ball in a 15-3 win against Akron (May 18).

HIGH SCHOOL Recorded 300 career strike outs, a .442 batting average and 27 home runs in four years on the Granville High School baseball team ... holds the school record for career wins and starts ... a first-team all-league selection and co-player of the year ... named to the All-Ohio second team.

GENERAL Ranked No. 33 nationally among freshman in the Baseball America Top 50 College Prospects ... drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 35th round of the MLB Amateur Draft.
