2002 Recorded his first collegiate strike out in a three-inning stint versus LaSalle (March 10), earning his first collegiate save ... gave up two runs in 0.1 innings at Purdue (March 23), but responded eight days later by holding Georgia State (March 31) scoreless in one inning of work ... earned his first collegiate victory by working 5.2 innings of relief in a 15-10 victory versus Cincinnati (April 2) ... also struck out a career-high seven batters against the Bearcats ... started his first game at Western Michigan (April 7) and went 3.2 innings for a no decision ... in his second start at Ball State (April 12) he suffered his first loss after allowing five runs in 2.1 frames ... pitched four solid innings of relief at Butler (April 17), allowing zero runs and one hit ... dropped to 1-2 at Cincinnati (April 24), when the Bearcats scored nine runs on ten hits ... pitched in his first MAC Tournament, throwing 2.2 innings versus Ball State (May 24).
