2002 Used primarily out the bullpen: was successful in his only two starts of the season against Radford (March 12) and IPFW (March 27) ... allowed Radford to notch seven runs in seven innings but still gained the victory to improve to 1-0 ... two weeks later at home against IPFW he had his best outing by permitting three runs, two earned, in 7.1 innings to garner his second win ... suffered his only setback at Butler (April 17) when he allowed three runs without recording an out.
2001 Saw action in eight games as a reliever and one as a starter ... made his only start of the season vs. Dayton (March 3) ... worked three innings of relief vs. Ohio Dominican (Feb. 24), allowing one run on two hits while striking out three to record his only save of the season.
2000 Primarily a relief pitcher for Miami ... appeared in seven games as a hurler ... pitched a complete game versus MCC champion Butler for his first career win ... scattered nine hits in nine innings, struck out six and walked zero versus the Bulldogs ... in one inning versus Iona (March 13), struck out one batter and did not allow a hit ... pitched one inning versus Arizona State in the NCAA Regional tournament, giving up one hit and one earned run while walking two batters ... for the season, had 14 strikeouts to only three walks ... in 18 innings of work, surrendered 14 earned runs ... finished the season with a 7.00 ERA.
GENERAL Will redshirt the 2003 season ... four-year member of Miami’s football squad as a receiver ... caught 26 receptions for 375 yeards in 12 games in 2002, two for touchdowns ... also had the years longest kick return with a 64-yarder versus UCF (Nov. 23) ... caught nine receptions for 168 yards in 12 games during the 2001 season, including a seaon-long 46-yard reception vs. Bowling Green ... also recorded his first career touchdown vs. BGSU ... caught three passes for 15 yards in 2000.
