2002 After sitting out the 2001 season due to Tommy John surgery, he got his first start in over a year at Kentucky (March 2) ... in 2.2 innings, the Wildcats touched him for eight hits and five runs ... he rebounded five days later at home against Cincinnati (March 7) by working three innings of relief, striking out five to even his record at 1-1 ... started his second contest of the season in Florida against Wagner (March 14), throwing six innings, recording five strike outs and allowing two earned runs ... suffered his second setback at Western Michigan (April 6) when the Broncos scored eight earned runs on 14 hits in 5.2 innings ... in his next start against Ball State (April 14), he dropped another decision, permitting five earned runs in 6.1 frames ... registered his first career save at home against Buffalo (April 19), working the final inning in a 9-8 RedHawks’ victory ... his record dropped to 1-4 when he was the hardluck loser against Wright State (April 23), allowing three unearned runs in the top of the 10th inning ... after a successful hold in game one of a doubleheader at Marshall (April 27), he upped his mark to 2-4 by tossing 1.2 hitless innings for a victory in Game Two ... earned his second save by working two scoreless innings at Wright State (May 15) ... tossed his finest game of the season to elminate Kent State (May 19) from any chances of hosting the MAC Tournament allowing three hits and one run in his first nine-inning complete game of the season ... named the MAC East Division Pitcher of the Week after his Wright State and Kent State outings.

2000 Primarily used as Miami’s No. 4 starting pitcher ... touted a 5-3 record in his rookie season ... pitched a three-hit shutout against Toledo on April 2, striking out six batters and walking zero ... in his 7-4 victory over Xavier (March 28), allowed no runs and no hits in three innings of work ... picked up his first collegiate victory versus Louisville on March 12, scattering seven hits and not surrendering a single run ... finished second on the team in ERA (3.99) ... tied for the league lead in shutouts (2).
