Played in 48 games for the Red and White and started in 39 at designated hitter ... recorded 12 multiple-hit and nine multiple-RBI games ... opened the season with a 2-for-5 night at No. 20 Florida (Feb. 20), which included hitting a game-winning home run in the top of the ninth inning ... in two games at Furman (Feb. 28-29), was 4-for-9 at the dish with two home runs, four RBIs and five runs scored ... named MAC East Division Player of the Week after the Furman series ... knocked in three runs with a single and home run at Western Carolina (March 7) ... put together a six-game hitting streak from May 1-12, going 7-for-18 with three doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored ... hit his final home run of the season in the fourth inning of Miami's MAC Tournament game against Ball State (May 28).
2003
Opened the season on a four-game hitting streak and notched a career-best eight-game hitting streak from April 11-April 27 ... had eight multi-hit and six multi-RBI games ... started his eight-game streak with a 3-for-4, five RBI, one home run game against Ball State (April 11), his five RBI were a career high ... notched a four-RBI game at Wright State (May 6) by going 3-for-5 with two home runs, his first career multi-home run game ... hit his first career triple at Kent State (May 9) ... entered the MAC Tournament on a four-game hitting streak and extended it to six games before it ended against Eastern Michigan (May 24).
2002
Started in 27 games primarily as a designated hitter, but saw action in 45 contests overall ... had six multi-hit and five multi-RBI contests ... recorded his first career hit, and double, as a pinch-hitter at Kentucky (March 2) ... recorded three RBI against Ball State (April 14) to begin a six-game hitting streak ... hit his first career home run as a pinch hitter at Marshall (April 28) ... plated three runs at Akron (May 11) to tie his career high, and one day later upped his career high to four RBI with his first career grand slam at Akron (May 12).
