Made 17 appearances on the mound, starting 11... was the Saturday starter for all nine conference series... was 7-4 with a 2.53 ERA... threw 81.2 innings, allowing 77 hits and 31 runs (23 earned)... struck out 56 batters, while walking only 12... his longest outing spanned 8.1 innings, a 1-0 win at Akron on April 23... threw eight innings at Kent State on May 8... the RedHawks win that game 3-2... completed six innings or more on six other occasions... opened only once in his first seven appearances... played in 11 games as a position player (DH/OF/PH)... started nine times... batted .292 with three runs batted in... had a pair of hits twice (vs. Ball State on April 2 and at Northern Illinois on April 9... both hits against the Huskies were doubles... scored a pair of runs... stole his only base vs. Ball State, but was caught three other times during the year... walked four times, giving him an on-base percentage of .379... slugged at a .375 clip... had 10 putouts without an error.
