2002 Started all 59 games in 2002 as Miami’s center fielder ... paced the team with 247 at-bats and 272 plate appearances ... his 247 at-bats is the third-highest single-season total at Miami ... his .559 on-base percentage was fourth on the team ... he was second on the squad with 15 doubles and third with 12 home runs ... had 22 multi-hit and 17 multi-RBI contests ... set a career best with a 4-for-7 outing at Northern Kentucky (March 5), breaking his previous record of two hits ... also scored a career-high three runs in that contest ... registered second four-hit game of the season going 4-for-4 in a 12-7 win against Radford (March 12) ... knocked in a career-high four RBI by hitting a double and a home run at home against Cincinnati (April 2) ... was Miami’s hottest batter from April 20-May 11, recording a team-best 15-game hitting streak ... during his 15-game hitting streak he batted .424 (28-66) with 17 RBI, five doubles, one triple and four home runs ... went 6-for-10 in the final two games of the MAC Tournament against Eastern Michigan (May 23) and Ball State (May 24).
