Played in 49 games, starting 37... opened 32 games as the designated hitter with the other five starts coming at first base... batted .262 with two home runs and 10 runs batted in... walked 12 times to raise his on-base percentage to .311... added nine doubles for a .362 slugging percentage... hit safely in 20 games, registering multiple hits on six occasions...
