Prior to Miami
Suited up for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL in 2011-12, playing in 57 regular-season games while tallying 32 points on 13 goals and 19 helpers ... posted a +15 rating during the year as well, which was second on the team ... helped the Phantoms make the playoffs in 2012, scoring three goals and adding two assists in six games ... started 2010-11 with the Indiana Ice, playing in seven games, before moving over to Youngstown, where he handed out seven assists in 34 games while battling an injury ... played in the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2009-10 for the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs and led them to the league title ... totaled 61 points on 33 goals and 28 assists in just 40 regular-season games while he potted three goals in four playoff games with New Hampshire ... was a finalist for EJHL Rookie of the Year ... earned academic honors in high school at Ursuline School.
