PRIOR TO MIAMI: Spent two seasons at Saint Francis (Pa.) ... was the only player to start all 30 games for the Red Flash in 2010-11 and averaged 11.1 ppg and a team-leading 6.7 rpg while racking up a team-most 38 blocked shots during his sophomore campaign ... poured in a career-high 30 points against Wagner on Feb. 24, 2011, while adding 13 rebounds ... notched five double-doubles as a sophomore, which included a stretch of three-straight double-doubles in early December at Long Island (16 pts, career-high 15 rebs), at Lehigh (10 pts, 10 rebs) and at Ohio (19 pts, 10 rebs) ... as a freshman, he played in 30 games, making 25 starts ... named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team ... averaged 9.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg while compiling 26 blocked shots in his first season at Saint Francis.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Division 4 First Team honoree and a two-time Division 4 Player of the Year ... helped Lutheran East High School to a 23-3 record as well as district and regional championships as a senior ... averaged 25 ppg and 13 rpg during his senior campaign and led the Cleveland Plain Dealer's circulation area with 27 ppg and 12 rpg as a junior in 2007-08.
