Miami Athletics also will recognize legendary coach Charlie Coles.
Last week: The RedHawks (17-9, 8-5 MAC) snapped a three-game losing streak with wins at Buffalo on Wednesday and at home against Bowling Green on Saturday. Miami, which defeated the Bulls, 69-56, saw senior point guard Courtney Osborn become MU's all-time leading scorer (FULL STORY). The Fishers, Ind. native also helped the 'Hawks take down the Falcons, 76-61, scoring a game-high 33 points (FULL STORY). This week: Miami returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 28 when it hosts Kent State at 7 p.m. It is the regular-season home finale at Millett Hall and Senior Night. Miami's collegiate team has dominated the division and is the eight-time defending national champion in search of the program's 15th national title. The collegiate team already owns more consecutive national titles than any other program at any level of synchronized skating and tries to tie the record for all of U.S. figure skating this year. The RedHawk junior team, which has boasted some of the best finishes in Miami junior program history, also looks for gold and would become the first Miami junior team to earn a spot on the podium by finishing among the top three in the nation.
