Listed below is a recap of last week's results as well as a look ahead at this week's games. Enjoy!

Ice Hockey

Last week: The RedHawks (11-3-4, 8-3-3-3 CCHA) earned a 1-1 draw and shootout win against in-state rival Ohio State on Friday in the first game of a two-game road set in Columbus. Austin Czarnik scored the game-winning goal in the shootout (FULL STORY). Miami then soared past the Buckeyes, 3-1, on Saturday (FULL STORY). Coming up: MU has a week off before traveling to compete in the Three Rivers Classic Friday, Dec. 28 through Saturday, Dec. 29. The 'Hawks play Ohio State Friday at 7:30 p.m. and face off against either Penn State or Robert Morris on Saturday. Puck drop on Saturday is TBD.

Men's Basketball

Last week: The RedHawks (3-5) are coming off an 83-61 loss to rival Dayton Saturday, Dec. 8. (FULL STORY). This week: Miami travels to play Wright State Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. MU returns home Saturday Dec. 22 for a game against Chicago Illinois at 1:30 p.m.

Women's Basketball

Last week: The RedHawks (6-4) defeated Chicago State, 71-37, on Sunday. Kirsten Olowinski and Jessica Rupright led the team with 12 points apiece (FULL STORY). This week: Miami travels to play in the Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico Friday, Dec. 21 through Saturday, Dec. 22. The 'Hawks play Creighton on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and Nevada on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Synchronized Skating

Coming up: All three of Miami's synchronized skating teams are off until Jan. 11-12 when they travel to Fraser, Mich. The junior team will compete at the Junior World Qualifier Jan. 11-12, while the senior and collegiate teams will be competing at the same location in the Mid-America Championships Jan. 12-13.

Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving

Coming up: The men's swimming and diving team is off until Friday, Jan. 11 when it travels to compete against Cincinnati. The women's team travels to Boca Raton, Fla. for a meet against James Madison Thursday, Jan. 3.
