Football

Last week: Despite a second-half comeback effort, the Miami football team lost its season finale to Ball State, 31-24, Friday afternoon at Yager Stadium (FULL STORY). Zac Dysert, one of 25 seniors to play their final collegiate game, crossed the 12,000-yard plateau for career passing and Dawan Scott registered his fourth career 100-yard receiving game of the year. The RedHawks finished the season with a 4-8 overall record and were 3-5 in the Mid-American Conference.

 

Men's Basketball

Last week: The Miami men's basketball team won back-to-back games for the first time this season, beating William & Mary on the road, 72-59, on Wednesday, while cruising past James Madison, 76-59, on Saturday. Allen Roberts scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Tribe (FULL STORY) and Reggie Johnson's career-high 21 points led the RedHawks past the Dukes (FULL STORY). This week: MU (3-2) travels to play IPFW Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.

 

Women's Basketball

Last week: The Miami women's basketball team split a pair of games against the College of Charleston and Youngstown State. The RedHawks (3-2) defeated the Cougars, 55-42, on Friday night (FULL STORY), but lost to the Penguins, 76-56, on Sunday (FULL STORY). This week: MU travels to play Kentucky Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m., before returning home to play UMass Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.

 

Ice Hockey

Last week: The Miami ice hockey team did not see action last week. This week: The RedHawks make the long trek to take on Alaska Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. Puck drop is 11:05 p.m. ET both nights (7:05 p.m. local).

 

Volleyball

Last week: The Miami volleyball team ended its season with a 3-1 victory against Cincinnati Saturday at Millett Hall (FULL STORY). The RedHawks finished the season with a 10-20 overall record and were 4-12 in the Mid-American Conference.

 

Men's Swimming & Diving

This week: The RedHawks, who were idle the last two weeks, return to action at the Nixon Aquatic Center Thursday, Nov. 29 through Saturday, Dec. 1 for the annual Miami Invitational.

 

Women's Swimming & Diving

This week: The RedHawks, who were idle the last two weeks, return to action at the Nixon Aquatic Center Thursday, Nov. 29 through Saturday, Dec. 1 for the annual Miami Invitational.

 

Synchronized Skating

This week: The RedHawks open their 2012-13 competitive seasons Saturday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Dr. Richard Porter Classic.
