OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University has signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop to become the Official Coffee Corporate Partner for the Miami RedHawks, IMG College announced today. Included in the deal are sponsorships with the Mid-American Conference and fellow members Central Michigan University and Ohio University.
IMG College manages the multi-media rights for the MAC and six league members. Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will be pouring college sports fans its Always Fresh premium blend coffee and hot chocolate at Miami, Central Michigan and Ohio football and basketball games as part of the agreement. Tim Horton's hot chocolate will also be available at Steve Cady Arena during Miami hockey games.
"We take great satisfaction in that we can provide our guests with the same quality beverages they enjoy every day at the concession stand as well," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S. "As we open new restaurants, we look forward to continuing to grow our partnerships with collegiate and professional athletic programs."
The sponsorship agreements with the MAC and the three universities will go through the 2016 season.
